Southwestern College’s 2020 summer session will be held online and through distance learning as Southwestern College continues to do its part to help stop the spread of COVID-19 by practicing crucial social distancing.

The summer schedule will be available online through WebAdvisor on April 21. Priority registration will begin on April 27 and open registration will begin on May 6.

“Our priority continues to be the health and safety of our students while continuing to offer our life-changing educational opportunities and services to our students,” said Superintendent/President Dr. Kindred Murillo.

Southwestern College has been taking guidance from local and state health departments to stop the spread of COVID-19 and from the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office, who has asked California community colleges to extend their COVID-19 response and planning through at least June.

New students can begin their educational journey with Southwestern College this summer by applying online at http://swccd.edu/apply. Our student services, like admissions, financial aid and counseling, have moved remotely and are available to help students get started on their transfer-track program to top universities or earn an associate degree or certificate through Southwestern College’s award-winning Career Education programs.
