The Office of Student Equity, Programs and Services brought cultural spring festivities
to Southwestern College with their Persian New Year celebration, known as Nowruz.
Held on Tuesday, March 19, the celebration included a variety of traditional Persian
treats, dance demonstrations and a presentation on the cultural meaning of the holiday.
