Today, I am sitting in Reno, so I am taking a long weekend to reinvigorate (not in Reno, Tahoe). I am getting ready to attend the groundbreaking for a project I worked on for many years; the Lisa Maloff University Center at Lake Tahoe Community College. This was a very important project during my time in South Lake Tahoe because the community was deprived of higher education opportunities as many rural areas are. It also reinforced for me that setting a clear vision, understanding your current reality, and putting the steps in place to achieve that vision works. Honorable aspirations are achievable, even at small colleges.

The ACCJC noted they are trying to get letters out by the end of this week. We will advise when we get it. We know many of you are very anxious.
In my absence, Vice President, Tim Flood is the acting President. Be kind to him☺))
