SWC Disability Support Services Honors Supporters at ACCESS Awards Breakfast

Southwestern College Disability Support Services and ABLE Club will host the annual ACCESS award ceremony and breakfast.

Given to students, faculty and community groups for their support of Southwestern College students with disabilities, this year’s award winners are Karina Mendoza, Tony McGee and the San Diego Air Cooled Car Club, respectively.

The keynote speaker is Vocational Specialist Rusty Krumm, a career counselor at San Diego Community College District. Krumm has also worked for Access to Independence, an independent living agency.

Emmy-nominated singer, songwriter Mark Goffeney of the band “Big Toe” will be playing at 11 am. Goffeney plays guitar with his feet.

Tickets—$15 for adults and $10 for students—are available at the door.
