Southwestern College Child Development Center Re-Accredited

Southwestern College Child Development Center Re-Accredited

The Southwestern College Child Development Center has been re-accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
The NAEYC, based in Washington, D.C., serves as an institution that is committed to promoting excellence in early childhood education and has served a national accreditation system since 1985. The NAEYC acknowledges organizations who have committed themselves to high-quality educational and developmental services.
The NAEYC commended outstanding efforts by the administration, staff, faculty and families of the Southwestern College Development Center that have helped the center remain accredited and uphold their mission statement.
Director Patricia Bartow said the accreditation is for a five-year term.
“This recognition is on a national level, giving testament to the quality of our center’s program and our staffs’ personal commitment to setting a higher standard in our industry and within our community,” said Bartow. “Our re-accreditation was a success because of their hard work, integrity, and the support we receive from the SWC community.”
